Vivek Agnihotri is gearing up for the release of his next movie titled The Vaccine War. Recently, author and philanthropist Sudha Murty attended a special screening of the film following which she shared her review of it. She called the Agnihotri directorial a ‘heart touching’ movie and praised it for showing the efforts taken by female scientists in creating a vaccine for COVID-19.
“I understand the role of a woman because she is a mother, she is a wife, and she is also a career person. It is very hard to balance your family and your work. But some people are fortunate. In my case, my parents stayed upstairs, and I stayed downstairs, which is why I could do better,” Murty said as quoted by Indian Express.

“It is not easy for a woman to pursue her career with children. She requires good family support. I always say, ‘Behind every successful woman, there is an understanding man, otherwise she cannot do it’,” she added.
Sudha Murty further explained how The Vaccine War shows the efforts which were taken to make the coronavirus vaccine in India. “Common man won’t understand what is Covaxin and what is… but this movie clearly shows the effort. It is not just work; it is selfless work that all these scientists did. They spent maximum time in this period so that we all can live in a democratic India, happily and healthily. That’s a very important message,” she shared.
Sudha Murty also shared how Indians have a lot of potential but are often scared to show it in front of others. “This film tells us that the real wealth is our confidence. Please unleash your potential, all Indians. Be hardworking, be ethical and be proud that you are Indian,” she concluded.
The Vaccine War stars Nana Patekar, Anupam Kher, Sapthami Gowda, and Pallavi Joshi as lead characters. Produced by Pallavi Joshi and I Am Buddha, the film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on September 28.
