Journalist Im Sang-jin's journey takes an unexpected turn when an anonymous tip leads him to discover an online comment army that specialises in shaping public perception.

The highly anticipated Korean movie Troll Factory, also known as Comment Army, has recently treated fans with fresh stills featuring its stellar cast which includes Son Suk-ku, Kim Sung-cheol, Kim Dong-hwi, and Hong Kyung. The movie, based on a crime-suspense novel of the same name written by Chang Kang-myoung, promises an intriguing narrative that takes viewers into the world of online manipulation and its impact on public opinion. The story revolves around a journalist named Im Sang-jin (played by Son Suk-ku).

According to the plot, journalist Im Sang-jin is suspended from his job after exposing the corruption of a powerful corporation. His journey takes an unexpected turn when an anonymous tip leads him to discover an online comment army that specialises in shaping public perception. Determined to clear his name and reveal the truth, Im Sang-jin goes on a mission to show the manipulative tactics of the comment army, reported Soompi.

Son Suk-ku’s portrayal of Im Sang-jin is set to be a standout performance, as he embodies the resilience and determination of a journalist fighting for justice and redemption.

Joining him are actors Kim Sung-cheol as Jjing Putt-king, the cunning leader of the comment army, Kim Dong-hwi as Chat Tat-khat, the mastermind behind the fabricated stories and also the one who tips Im Sang-jin off about the existence of the comment army, and Hong Kyung as Paeb Taek, a keyboard warrior, who is sunk deep by the power of online manipulation, as per Soompi.

The newly released stills offer a glimpse into the intense and dramatic moments that await audiences. From Im Sang-jin’s expressions of shock and sadness to the tense interactions between him and Chat Tat-khat, the images hint at the gripping storyline that will unfold on screen.
