Ranbir Kapoor, who shares his birthday with aunt Rima Jain, sister of his late father Rishi Kapoor, received a heartwarming wish from his cousin Karisma Kapoor. The actress shared throwback pictures of herself with a little Ranbir and aunt Rima.
In the first picture, a young Karisma is seen standing with a kid version of Ranbir in the mountains. The Dil To Pagal Hai actress wore a pink top over a sweater and paired it with loose denim. In the second picture, Karisma can be seen sitting behind her aunt Rima. It appears that the picture was taken at a festivity. Rima is seen donning a white dress, while Karisma looks pretty in a red and orange ensemble.
Captioning the post, Karisma wrote, “Two very special Kapoor’s were born today! One who’s soon to be a dad. And the other one who has the kindest heart. Happy Birthday Rima Aunty and Happy 40th Ranbir." For the hashtag, she wrote, “Family love."

Taking to the comment section, fans wished both Ranbir and Rima and dropped heart and fire emojis. Reacting to the post, Saba Pataudi wrote, “Precious moments. Happy birthday to Both! Rima aunty and Ranbir," while Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared three red heart emojis as her comment.
Ranbir Kapoor hosted a grand party on the eve of his birthday. Only close friends and family were invited to the actor’s 40th birthday party. Leading the guest list were Akash and Shloka Ambani, followed by Neetu Kapoor, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, Luv Ranjan, Rohit Dhawan, and Arti Shetty. Rohit Dhawan arrived with his wife Jaanvi Desai Dhawan.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir was last seen in Brahmastra alongside Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna. The movie was released on September 9. Up next, the actor will star alongside Shraddha Kapoor in an untitled Luv Ranjan flick. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal will also feature Ranbir in the lead role.
