Ira Khan, Nupur Shikhare Kickstart Udaipur Wedding Festivities With Handstands, Mithila Palkar Joins Them

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira will soon be tying the sacred knot with her longtime boyfriend Nupur Shikhare. The lovebirds recently jetted off to Udaipur for their grand wedding, and now, Ira has shared a bundle of photos from their wedding location as they kickstarted their wedding festivities. Ira’s close friend and actress Mithila Palkar also joined them.

Ira and Nupur kickstarted wedding festivities and dished out some major fitness goals. Sharing the photos, the young starkid wrote, “Can it be our wedding without a bunch of workouts? @nupur_popeye Warm up: Bring Sally Up – push-ups; Workout : . Push-ups . Jump squats. The couple, now legally married, will be having a traditional wedding in Udaipur, surrounded by close family and friends. The wedding festivities are scheduled to occur at the Taj Aravali Resort, situated on Kodiyat Road in Udaipur, from January 8 to 10. The entire hotel, boasting 176 rooms, has been reserved for approximately 250 guests, including Bollywood luminaries and relatives of both the bride and groom.

Ira and Nupur crossed paths during the Covid-19 lockdown and fell in love in 2021. The latter proposed to Ira in 2022. The pre-wedding festivities commenced with a Haldi ceremony on January 2.

The formalization of their marital status took place with the signing of the marriage registration document at the Taj Lands End in Mumbai’s Bandra area on Wednesday. Aamir Khan, along with his ex-wives Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta, Ira Khan’s brothers Junaid Khan and Azad, Nupur Shikhare’s mother, Pritam Shikhare, and businessman Mukesh Ambani, accompanied by Nita Ambani, attended the wedding.

A grand reception is scheduled for January 13 at the BKC Jio Centre, where notable figures from Bollywood and politics have received invitations. IndiaToday.in has exclusively acquired information about the guest list for the event.

Aamir Khan’s friends and industry colleagues, including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Rajkumar Hirani, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Juhi Chawla, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, and others, are expected to attend the star-studded reception.
