BTS Star Suga Misplaced His Trademark Hat; ARMY Wants 'Search Crew' To Find It
BTS rapper revealed that he has lost the iconic leopard print bucket hat on the latest episode of his chatshow Suchwita.

All seven BTS members are brand ambassadors of international luxury fashion brands. However, for a long time the fans of the South Korean supergroup have associated certain clothes with the members, be it V’s preference for tan-coloured formals, J Hope’s red crossbody bag, or Jungkook’s bucket hats. For quite some time in 2023, Suga (Min Yoongi) was spotted wearing a fluffy leopard print hat. Recently, in the latest episode of his chatshow Suchwita, Suga revealed that he lost his leopard print hat. This admission has caused much buzz within the BTS fandom, also known as ARMY.

On January 15, Suga had a chat with Jung Yonghwa, a veteran idol and actor from South Korea. Yonghwa, who is the vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock group CNBLUE, spoke to Suga about the music industry, touring, and reminisced about BTS’ early days.

Five minutes into the chatshow, Suga and Yonghwa began talking about the last time when they met. Suga said that they met before the release of his album D-DAY and Yonghwa pointed out that when they met and went out for a meal Suga was wearing a ‘leopard pint bucket hat’. This prompted Suga to recall where he kept that hat. Suga added that he lost that hat and it is not in his home even though he remembers wearing it often. Yonghwa then asked Suga, “Wasn’t that sort of your trademark?” To this Suga said, “That’s not why I wore it.”

Both then move to another topic but BTS fans are now fixating on Suga’s leopard print hat and expressing dismay that it is lost. Referencing the episode, a BTS fan exclaimed on X, “WHERE IS YOONGI’S LEOPARD PRINT BUCKET HAT?!”. Another person wrote, “They should create a special detective crew to search our Suga’s hat. It’s VERY important!!”

Back in 2018, BTS member J-Hope gave away his red crossbody bag to a fan when they performed at Citi Field stadium in Queens, New York.

Jacqueline Montoya, from New Jersey, was the lucky fan who got the bag personally from J-Hope. She told Metro UK, “My friends and I arrived at Citi Field on 1 October, five days before the concert. For camping, we took turns with it and went about our lives with school and work. My experience from the time I arrived until concert time was beyond amazing.”

Talking about the moment when she got the bag, she said, “I did hype him up a lot throughout the concert and he noticed. He also noticed me crying towards the end of the concert, which is when he approached me to give me his bag.”
