Apple often has secret promotions for new and returning customers. Right now, you can get up to 3 free months of Apple Music by visiting https://redeem.services.apple/card-apple-entertainment-offer-1-2024 and clicking Redeem Now under Apple Music. This offer is good until January 31, 2025. If you're a new subscriber, you'll get 3 free months of Apple Music. Returning subscribers will only get 2 free months. And while the promotion does mention you'll need an Apple Card, plenty of people have been able to activate the promotion without one. This offer, like 99% of free Apple Music offers, will not work if you're currently subscribed to Apple Music.
Redeem a free 2 months from Shazam.
Scan the code on the Shazam website for 2 free months of Apple Music. Some people have had success using this code after redeeming free trials in the past, but it may only work for new subscribers at the moment. Head over to https://www.shazam.com/applemusic and scan the QR code to claim your free Apple Music subscription.
Get a trial from American Airlines.
Get 2 free months of Apple Music by redeeming this offer from American Airlines. Go to https://entertainment.aa.com/en/apple-tv-plus-music and click Redeem 2 Free Months Now under "Apple Music on American." You may also be able to redeem this offer if you've used a trial or paid for a subscription in the past, but not if you're a current subscriber.
Install the Djay app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
Djay, a DJing app, offers up to 2 free months of Apple Music. If you've ever used a free trial or paid for Apple Music in the past, you'll only get 1 month free, but new subscribers will get 2 months free. Just install the Djay by Algoriddim app from the App Store, and you'll see your free Apple Music offer.
Add money to your App Store account.
Adding $25 or more to your App Store accounts gets you 1-2 free months of Apple Music. This offer will only work if you do not currently subscribe to Apple Music. If you're brand new to Apple Music, you'll get 2 free months. Returning subscribers will only get 1 month free. Here's how to redeem the offer: Open the App Store and tap your profile picture or initials at the top-right. Tap Add Money to Account. Best Buy offers 3 months of free Apple Music on their website. This offer will work whether you're a new subscriber or you've already had a subscription. There is no need to make any purchases—just head over to Best Buy's free Apple Music offer, add it to your cart, and check out to receive your offer.
Join Target Circle.
This free Target membership gets you 2 free months of Apple Music. Whether you're new to Apple Music or you had a subscription or trial in the past, you can get a free two-month subscription just for joining Target Circle. It's free to join—just download the Target app on your phone or tablet, or visit the Target Circle website and click Join Target Circle. Once you're a Target Circle member, go to https://www.target.com/circle/partners/3001 and click Redeem now to get your free Apple Music subscription.
Sign up for a trial through ID Mobile in the UK.
Get up to 3 free months of Apple Music in the United Kingdom. There are multiple free Apple Music offers available to EE customers. If your plan supports Inclusive Extras, you can add Apple Music as your Inclusive Extra to get it for free. If not, or if you have to pay for that, you can get Apple Music free for 6 months by texting the word MUSIC to 150. You'll receive a text message with instructions on how to activate your offer. You can only activate the 6 free months of Apple Music if you're a current EE customer and do not have an active Apple Music subscription.

Orange subscribers get Apple Music free for 6 months. Switch your mobile service to Orange to get all sorts of free perks, including Apple Music. Buy a qualifying item in a Walmart Store.
Certain Walmart purchases qualify for up to 4 months of free Apple Music. This doesn't apply to online purchases, just certain in-store purchases. When you buy a qualifying item, your printed receipt will contain a redemption code for free Apple Music, whether you're a new or returning subscriber. Just visit https://www.wmt-offer.com and enter the code from your receipt to redeem your free Apple Music subscription. Unfortunately, Walmart doesn't publicize which products qualify.
Switch to Verizon Unlimited Ultimate.
Verizon's Unlimited Ultimate plan comes with free Apple Music. As long as you have an iPhone that works on the Verizon network, you can subscribe to this plan, which instantly gives you access to Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and iCloud+ for free. Get a Rogers Infinite plan.
Canadian residents can get 6 free months of Apple Music upon activation. If you switch to a Rogers Infinite plan, you can redeem your free 6 months of Apple Music—even if you're a current Apple Music subscriber. Once your plan is active, you'll receive a text from Rogers containing a link to redeem the promotion and link your Apple ID. If you already subscribe to Apple Music, the Rogers prompts will help you cancel your existing subscription and activate your 6 free months.

Get Apple Music free for 4 months through one of Spain's largest retailers. This offer, which will only work if your Apple account's location is in Spain, gets you 4 months of Apple Music at no cost. Get a student trial through UNiDAYS.
Students who sign up through UNiDAYS get a free month of Apple Music and Apple TV+. You must be able to prove your student status through UNiDAYS to qualify, which you can do by connecting from your college Wi-Fi network or providing your .edu email address. To get started, go to https://www.myunidays.com/US/en-US/partners/applemusic/view and click Get Now under "Get 1 month Apple Music free." After the trial ends, you can keep your membership and only pay half-price (the student rate). You can also get other discounts through UNiDAYS, including MAX, Disney+, and sometimes Audible.
Sign up for Walmart+.
A Walmart+ subscription may come with a free Apple Music trial. This offer was popular in the first half of 2024, but at the moment, the only Apple-related free perks are a 5-month free subscription to Apple Arcade and 3 free months of Apple News. Because Walmart partners with Apple, it's likely the Apple Music offer will return in the future, so visit https://plus.walmart.com and check the "Limited-time offers" section.
Cancel your current subscription for more offers.
Apple may offer you additional free months if you cancel your service. This isn't guaranteed, but you can try it if you're already a subscriber. You can cancel Apple Music in the Settings app by tapping your name at the top, selecting Subscriptions, choosing Apple Music, and then Cancel or Cancel Free Trial. Once canceled, you may receive an email or prompt asking if you'll reconsider for an extra month or two of free service.
Join an existing Apple Music Family Plan.
If you know someone with Apple Music Family, ask them to invite you. Apple Music Family is a subscription plan that allows a family organizer to share their Apple Music subscription with up to 5 more people. If someone has an extra spot in their family, they can invite you to their family and you'll instantly get free access to Apple Music.
