Arbaz Patel, one of the most popular contestants from Bigg Boss Marathi season 5, was finally evicted from the house in its eighth week. His eviction came as a shock to many as he was believed to be a strong contender for the win. In a recent media interaction, he talked about marriage and whether he would marry someone outside of his religion.
The model and influencer has given several interviews since he came out, detailing his experience in the house and his personal life. In an interview with Filmymantra, Arbaz was asked about his views on marriage and what has changed. He said, “I think in today’s time, no one will be able to manage two marriages.” Delving more into the belief, he added, “It is said that four marriages are done in our religion, but most importantly, it is not allowed to happen.”
Speaking further, Arbaz stated that earlier, if a man died, others made decisions regarding the well-being of his widow, something which is not allowed now. He added, “It is completely wrong to remarry without your wife’s permission.”
Then he was asked the question, “If you want to marry a Hindu girl, will you marry in both Hindu and Muslim cultures?” He answered, “No, I can’t do that.” Arbaz continued, that a non-Muslim woman has to convert to Islam to marry him. However, “There is no problem in just having a court marriage,” he added.
Arbaz Patel shot to fame with his viral TikTok videos, before the app was banned in 2020. Apart from modelling, he also has a YouTube channel, where he regularly shares vlogs and other videos. He has also appeared in several music videos, adding to his fame. These include Tujh Main Sukoon, Nache Nagin, Khafa and Tumhe Kitna Chaha.
In 2024, he participated in the matchmaking reality show MTV Splitsvilla X5. After that, he became a contestant in Bigg Boss Marathi season 5, which regularly airs on Colors Marathi.
