Vedang Raina Says He's Prioritising Career Amid Relationship Rumours With Khushi Kapoor
Despite the speculations about their relationship, both Vedang Raina and Khushi Kapoor continue to keep their romance under wraps.

Vedang Raina and Khushi Kapoor have been rumoured to be dating for a while now. The duo shared the screen space for Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, released last year in December. Since then, they have been spotted together at multiple events including birthday parties and screenings. Despite the speculations, the duo continue to keep their romance under wraps. In a conversation with GQ, the actor has now opened up on the impact of his career on his dating life.

Reflecting on his priorities in the interview, Vedang Raina said, “My dating life right now is taking a back seat because I’m focused on my career. I’m clear about my priorities and want to keep these two aspects of my life separate. I’m enjoying where I am, and there’s a lot more I want to achieve. It’s not that dating would necessarily hinder me, but it can become a major part of your life. So I’m choosing to stay mindful of that and concentrate on what’s most important.”

Work-wise, Vedang Raina is geared up to be seen in Vasan Bala’s Jigra, starring Alia Bhatt in the lead. The actor is all praises for his co-star in the film as in the same interview, he added, “She’s the polar opposite of me as an actor, and honestly, it’s so confusing! Watching her, it’s clear she’s brilliant and makes a significant impact. I come in with extensive preparation, setting the mood with my playlist and sitting in a corner, immersing myself in the scene. Then, Alia arrives, and bam! She nails it in the first take, and I’m left amazed. She gets into character instantly, everything is sharp and precise.”

Meanwhile, Jigra marks the first collaboration of Vedang Raina with Alia Bhatt. The film, directed by Vasan Bala, has been produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. In the film, Vedang plays Alia’s brother as they “had a very seamless, easy-going work relationship,” the actress said in a previous interaction with News18.

As for Khushi Kapoor, the actress looks forward to star in the Hindi remake of Love Today alongside Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan. Apart from Love Today, she is also rumoured to be working on a project with Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan.
