TV Actress Maisha Dixit Injured At Chandigarh Mall After Tiles Fall On Her

Maisha Dixit is a well-known child artist in the TV industry. The 13-year-old met with a serious accident yesterday. The incident took place at the Elante Mall in Chandigarh. The Kahani Mata Rani Ki fame actress along with her aunt went to the popular shopping destination to celebrate Maisha’s birthday, when a piece of granite tiles fell on them. Both of them were reportedly injured. Talking to the media, Maisha Dixit said, “We were standing near a pillar to take a selfie when suddenly two tiles fell from above and hit my ribs, causing a fracture. It also fell on my aunt’s head, due to which she had to get multiple stitches.”

The actress’ father also commented on the incident mentioning such negligence from the authorities is really not expected. “Today is my daughter’s birthday and we came to the mall to enjoy the day. But we had no idea that such an incident would happen. Such negligence from the authorities is unacceptable. If something had happened to my daughter, who would have been responsible?” he said.

According to media reports, the area on the ground floor of Elante Mall where this incident took place was sealed off. This incident has gained significant attention as the family members have raised concerns about the safety of the people who visit the mall. They mentioned that this could have led to many serious accidents.

Maisha Dixit, who portrayed the role of Young Vaishno Devi in the serial Jag Jaanani Maa Vaishnodevi – Kahani Mata Rani Ki turned 13 yesterday. Following the unfortunate incident, the actress and her aunt were rushed to a private hospital.

Responding to the incident, the mall’s management issued an official statement, saying, “We are aware of the incident that took place at our mall. Our team took immediate action and rushed the customer to the hospital for preliminary treatment and care. We are also cooperating with the authorities in this regard. We have started an internal investigation and will take corrective measures to ensure such incidents do not happen in the future.”
