This Vijay Sethupathi And Trisha-starrer To Re-release On Valentine's Day

As per film critic Sreedhar Pillai, 96 is re-releasing in theatres on the special occasion of Valentine’s Day in Kamala Cinemas in Chennai. Sreedhar gave away this information on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

The plot of the 2018 romance drama revolves around two high school sweethearts from the class of 1996 (hence the name) who cross paths 22 years after they split, during a reunion. When it was released, the C Premkumar-directed movie became an enormous hit, receiving accolades for its superb performances. From time to time since the release, there are reports about a sequel to 96 but no official announcement has been made.
