Tamil actress Sunainaa is getting married to Dubai-based YouTuber Khalid Al Khalid, if reports are to be believed. Sunainaa, who was seen in films such as Regina, Laththi and Kadhalil Vizhunthen, paved the way for wedding speculations after she and Khalid shared cryptic posts hinting at an engagement. Amid these rumours, his first wife confirmed that she and Khalid are now divorced.
Recently, Sunainaa shared a picture in which she was seen holding a man’s hand. The photo was shared with a lock emoji, hinting at their marriage is ‘locked’. Fans were quick to realise that this was an engagement announcement post. However, she had not revealed the identity of her fiancé.
She then shared a post on X, which is later deleted, in which she allegedly confirmed her engagement rumours. “Hi, I’ve seen some articles going around regarding my last post and wanted to clarify that I am indeed happily engaged. Thank you for all the wonderful messages that are coming in, it means so much (sic),” she said, as reported by India Today.
Last week, Khalid shared a similar photo but with the couple sporting rings. This led to the speculations that Khalid and Sunainaa are getting married.
While the rumoured couple is yet break their silence on the speculations, Khalid’s first wife Salama Mohamed has confirmed that she has separated from him. On the latest episode of NourAldin Alyousuf’s YouTube, Salama confirmed she and Khalid are now divorced. She added that the divorce came through earlier this year.
“Before marriage, I was dependent on my family. After marriage, I was dependent on my husband. But now, as an independent person, it’s the first time that I know Salama,” she said.
