The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a money laundering case in connection with the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, officials said on Friday. The central probe agency has taken cognisance of a Bihar Police first investigation report (FIR) registered against actress Rhea Chakraborty and some others to slap criminal charges under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in its complaint, they said.

Rhea Chakraborty has broken her silence after an FIR was filed against her and her family by late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's father. In a tearful video message, the actress has said that she will not be commenting on the allegations against her as the matter is sub judice.

Music director and composer Sajid Khan of the Sajid-Wajid duo recently shot for an episode of the reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa-Lil Champs. The special episode was based on the composer duo. Sajid, who recently lost his brother and composer partner, was seen getting emotional on the sets.

Veteran actress Surekha Sikri had recently raised her voiced against the Maharashtra government's decision to not permit cast and crew above 65 years to work in the post Covid-19 situation. The Badhaai Ho actress said that while she needs to resume work to manage her expenses, Sikri, 75, is quite upset with recent reports doing the rounds that she has asked her friends for loans.
