It is no secret that Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover are all set to reunite for an upcoming show, marking an end to their six-year-long fight. In a recent interview, Sunil Grover opened up about the same when he was also asked if all is well between him and Kapil now. “I think so,” Sunil told Indian Express and then added, “We will soon announce more details on the show and talk about it.”
Grover further talked about ending the rift with Kapil Sharma and admitted that the press coverage about their fight initially disturbed him. “Initially, I would get disturbed, but not anymore. I know the truth so what someone says or understands, is their problem, not mine. Those who point fingers, what is their credibility? If I need to answer something, I will do so, but usually there is no need for an explanation. They don’t have a full understanding of the matter, no facts, they are just saying something because it’s their job. Writing negative things grabs more attention. They will all understand eventually,” he said.
Sunil Grover became a household name after his fictional characters Gutthi and Dr Mashoor Gulati became extremely popular in Comedy Nights With Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show respectively. However, in 2018, the two comedians had an ugly fight on a flight while they were returning from a show in Australia. Sunil then stopped working with Kapil and the two didn’t speak to each other up until last year.
However, late last year, Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover joined hands again when they announced their Netflix show. While not much details about the show are known as of now, the rest of the cast includes Rajiv Thakur, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, and Archana Puran Singh.
Needless to say, fans are super excited to see Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover’s on-screen reunion and banter.
