Suga Missed His Fans, Reunites with Fellow BTS Members for MTV Unplugged Session
Suga was away from the limelight owing to his recent shoulder surgery.

The BTS Army finally got to see the seven band members performing together this week at MTV unplugged. BTS member Suga had taken a break last year in November when the music producer, rapper, and songwriter had to go for a shoulder surgery. Since Suga’s shoulder surgery, the rest of the BTS members were performing for various shows and giving interviews.

However, the 27-year-old artist was reunited with his fellow band members for a soul-soothing performance in the recent MTV Unplugged show that came out this week. The seven members: Jin, Suga, RM, V, Jungkook, Jimin, J-Hope performed songs from their recent album BE that was released on November 20, 2020. Before starting their performance, Suga said that he missed being on stage during his recovery period and it feels good to be performing together with his fellow band members.

In a colour splashing performance, the members rejuvenated the Army with their performance for the song Telepathy. This was the first time that the band was performing the song and J-Hope confessed that the group was nervous about performing it. Telepathy was co-written by Suga, Jungkook, and RM. Talking about the meaning of the song, Suga said that the band is in a situation where they cannot meet their fans around the world in person due to the pandemic and the song's lyrics describe their current situation of temporarily being apart from each other. He further mentioned that the Army was the inspiration behind the song.

The band also performed some mellow tracks like Blue & Grey which was written by vocalist V who described the song as being extremely close to his heart. Some other songs that the Grammy-nominated band performed includedLife Goes On, Dynamite and ending the episode on a surprising note, the band also covered Coldplay’s Fix You. The South Korean band’s cover of the song certainly left many fans teary-eyed.
