Sonam Bajwa Picks Her Favourite Punjabi Artist Between Diljit Dosanjh And Amarinder Singh

Sonam Bajwa attended an interview with Film Companion on March 9 where she engaged in a heart-to-heart conversation with host Manmohan Singh. The actress who hails from Punjab, spilled the beans on some of her favourite Punjabi cuisines, artists, and more, underlining her love for the city’s culture and vibe. The actress has climbed high on the ladder of success, working in noteworthy films like Carry on Jatta 3, Kappal, Godday Godday Chaa, and Honsla Rakh. In the candid interaction with the host, Sonam Bajwa answered nine questions about Punjab-related topics that have once again gone viral.

Sharing the interview video on Instagram, the interviewee wrote, “Sardar’s 9 Questions to Sonam Bajwa”. On being asked to choose her ideal Punjabi singer between Diljit Dosanjh and Amrinder Gill, Sonam was quick to answer that it was Diljit. Through the interview, the actress also displayed her love for Rajma Chawal. She opined that Chandigarh was a better place to live than Mumbai. When the host asked Sonam Bajwa to state whether she was the “Biggest female movie star in Punjab right now”, she unhesitantly said that the statement was “absolutely true”.

In the same interaction, Sonam Bajwa expressed her desire to buy a Thar and roam in the swanky car like a boss lady. The actress shared that her 2014 film Punjab 1984, directed by Anurag Singh and also starring Diljit Dosanjh was the best Punjabi film. When the host wanted to know which three Punjabi celebrities would she invite for lunch, “Ammy Virk, Diljit Dosanjh, and Nirmal Rishi ma’am” was her answer. The final question was about her debut Bollywood film, to which she gave an uncertain reply. “God knows,” said Sonam underlining that it is yet undetermined when she plans on making an entry in Bollywood.

Sonam Bajwa has been making the headlines recently for her rumoured marriage with a Delhi-based pilot Rakshit Agnihotri. According to a report by ETimes, the news first broke out on Reddit, where social media users claimed that the actress got hitched to her beau in September 2020. Reportedly, they have been married for three years. The speculated pair are yet to confirm their marriage.
