Shahid Kapoor will soon be seen sharing screen space with veteran actors Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia for his upcoming film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. The film is all set to hit the theatres on February 9. Ahead of the film’s release, the actor recently opened up on his working experience with the senior actors.
While speaking to the media, the actor said that sharing screen space with Dharmendra is an ‘honour’ for him. “To share screen space with him is an honor. He is very loving and charismatic. Whenever he meets you, there’s love in his hug. I just want his blessings. I have many scenes with him in the film; he plays my grandfather,” he expressed.
Discussing his collaboration with Dimple Kapadia, the ‘Kabir Singh’ actor mentioned, “I don’t think there could be a better cast than this, and we just wanted Dimple Ma’am to say yes to this role, and luckily she did. I don’t think anyone else could’ve done this role. She plays my ‘Maasi’ in the film, and I have a lot of scenes with her.”
He added, “I enjoyed it a lot, and I feel fortunate to share the screen space with those whom we have seen from our childhood and learned a lot from them; today, we are working with them. We are very fortunate to be there.”
Coming back to Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, the film also stars Kriti Sanon as the leading lady. The film’s trailer, which has already been released, begins with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon flirting with each other. The narrative takes an unexpected turn when Shahid introduces Kriti to his family, unaware of her true identity as a robot and the significance of her name, Sifra. As the trailer unfolds, Kriti Sanon’s character experiences a sudden shutdown. That is when Shahid Kapoor’s aunt, Dimple Kapadia, informs him that her battery is dead and she is in charging mode. Shahid is left in shock.
Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is all set to hit theatres on February 9.
