Sara Ali Khan In Don 3? Actress' Visit To Farhan Akhtar's Office Leaves All Curious

Could Sara Ali Khan play Roma in Don 3? Rumours of Sara possibly replacing Priyanka Chopra as the new Roma sparked after she was spotted making her way to Don writer Farhan Akhtar’s office on Friday. Earlier, there were rumours about Kiara being part of the film.

Sara’s visit comes months after Farhan Akhtar announced that he was returning with Don but without Shah Rukh Khan. The filmmaker confirmed that Ranveer Singh will be carrying forward the Don franchise with Don 3.

On Friday afternoon, Sara greeted the paparazzi gathered outside Farhan Akhtar’s office. The actress looked pretty in a salmon pink crop top, teamed with ribbed baggy denims. She donned one of her brightest smiles and waved at the paparazzi.

If Sara Ali Akhan confirms her part in Don 3, this will mark her second film with Ranveer after the 2018 hit film Simmba.

Last year, Farhan dropped a teaser for Don 3, confirming that Ranveer is playing the new Don. The teaser opened in an apartment against the breathtaking skyline of a city, with Ranveer Singh’s voiceover going, “Sher jo so raha hain woh jagega kab, puchte hai yeh sab. Unse keh do phir jaag utha hoon main, aur phir samne jald aane  ko.”He wears statement shades, smokes a cigarette, and wields a revolver in typical Don style, thus announcing his arrival as Don.

While speaking to Variety, Farhan Akhtar revealed that he and Shah Rukh Khan could not find any common ground and therefore decided to part ways for Don 3. “I’m not in a position to replace anybody. These are things that we discussed over the years. I wanted to take a certain direction with the story, but somehow we just couldn’t find common ground. We just parted ways mutually, knowing that it’s probably for the best. So that’s where it is,” he said.

Farhan further revealed that Ranveer Singh is super excited about the movie and added, “I’m really excited that Ranveer’s on board. He’s so charged and so ready to go. It’s a big film, just purely from the point of view of an actor; it’s a big thing to do, and we’re really excited to have him on board. His energy is energizing us, so to speak.”

Don 3 will hit theatres in 2025.
