Salim-Javed To Host Special Screening of Sholay After 49 Years in Mumbai, All We Know
Ramesh Sippy’s evergreen film Sholay is one of those movies that has aged really well. Released in 1975, the film is still fresh in fans' minds

Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar starrer Angry Young Men docu-series has been getting an overwhelming response from the audience. The series focuses on their journey. Well, to make it more special the duo is hosting a special screening of the iconic film Sholay on August 31. The film which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Hema Malini will be screened only in Mumbai.

Taking to Instagram handle, Tiger Baby official shared the news and wrote, “Celebrate the magic of Salim-Javed 50 years later. One time screening of Sholay in cinemas this Saturday 31st August!” In the motion poster we can see Sholay’s poster and it is mentioned free screening. One of the fans wrote, “First Bollywood movie I ever watched as a kid in Iran with my family, Iconic movie who knew I would one day meet his daughter.” Another wrote, “That’s a woooowww! Guess History will be created again !.”
