Wedding bells are ringing for the Marathi actress Pooja Sawant and her fiancee Siddesh Chavan. They exchanged rings in November 2023 and since then, they have become the talk of the tinsel town. Rajshri Marathi shared glimpses of their Sakharpuda. Sakharpuda is a term used for the Maharashtrian engagement ceremony.
Pooja looked gorgeous as she donned a green Paithani saree, a popular Maharashtrian saree. She accessorised her looks with a necklace, nose studs, and earrings. She left her hair loose and complimented the looks even further with glowing makeup. Siddesh also looked handsome in a light orange kurta which he paired with a dhoti of a colour-coordinated colour with green stripes. Both Pooja and Siddesh were all smiles as they posed for the cameras. Both greeted the media professionals and then returned to the engagement venue. The video also showed other guests at the engagement venue interacting with Siddesh.
Rajshri Marathi has uploaded another video from Pooja and Siddesh’s Sakharpuda ceremony. Pooja donned a white Chikankari lehenga while Siddesh donned a traditional white ensemble. The couple were seen happily interacting with each other.
Pooja’s fans now wish to know the date of their wedding. Director Chandrakant Kanse revealed in an Instagram post that Pooja will tie the knot in February 2024. He, however, has not revealed the exact date.
