She said, as quoted by Deccan Herald, “My husband called me on June 8 afternoon. If my husband had sent derogatory messages on social media, he should have been given a warning. What was the need to kill him.” She further demanded justice and said, “Whether he is an actor (Darshan) or a star, I want justice.”

Mumbai Police recorded actor Salman Khan’s statement on Wednesday, June 12 in connection to the firing case outside his house. As reported by the news agency PTI, a four-member crime branch team visited Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra and recorded his statement for 4 hours. Not just Salman but his brothers – Arbaaz and Sohail’s statements were also recorded.
