Pawan Kalyan Offers Condolences After Kichcha Sudeep's Mother Passes Away
Pawan Kalyan tweeted that Kichcha Sudeep said that his mother influenced and encouraged his acting career.

Kichcha Sudeep’s mother, Saroja Sanjeev, passed away on Sunday, October 20. Saroja Sanjeev was 86 years old and died at Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru due to an age-related illness. The news led to an outpouring of condolences on social media. Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan also expressed his grief.

Taking to X, Pawan released a press note in Telugu that read, “I am saddened to know that the mother of famous actor Mr Kichcha Sudeep, Mrs Saroja, has passed away. I pray to God to rest the soul of Mrs Saroja. Mr Sudeep garu said that his mother influenced and encouraged his acting career. He should recover quickly from the loss. My deepest condolences to the family of Shri Sudeep.” Sudeep retweeted the tweet shared by Kalyan and wrote, “Thank you, @APDeputyCMO sir. Very kind n sweet of you.”

Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka DK Shivakumar also offered his condolences. “Actor Mr. Kiccha Sudeep’s mother Mrs. Saroja was heartbroken to hear the news of her passing away. I pray that the departed soul may rest in eternal peace and may the Lord grant Sudeep and his family the strength to bear the pain of bereavement. Om Shanti,” he wrote on X.

Kantara star Rishab Shetty mourned Sudeep’s loss. “My deepest condolences to you, @KicchaSudeep Sir, on the loss of your beloved mother. May her soul rest in peace, and may you and your family find strength and comfort during this difficult time,” he said.

Another prominent figure in Kannada cinema, Shiva Rajkumar, visited Sudeep personally to offer his condolences. In a message on X, he wrote, “May the soul of Kichcha Sudeep’s mother Mrs Saroja rest in peace. May the Lord give strength to the whole family to bear the pain. Om Shanti.”

Reportedly, Saroja died around 7 am at Apollo Hospital in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. She was receiving treatment for age-related health complications, but her health took a turn in the wee hours of Sunday and she passed away. Her final rites took place later that day at the Wilson Garden crematorium.
