The poster suggests a dramatic transformation for SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, as he appears to have abandoned his police uniform in favour of a rugged look reminiscent of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Raj. He is seen holding an axe in one hand and a service pistol in the other, while he is wearing a lungi, vest, and police jacket combination. The backdrop shows him amidst a group of woodcutters, with a truck loaded with red sandalwood.
Earlier, the markers also unveiled the look of Allu Arjun in the poster. Allu Arjun plays Pushpa Raj, who is dressed in a grey t-shirt with a brown overshirt and a matching bandana knotted over his forehead. He is seen carrying a sword on his shoulder and looking intensely into the camera with a fierce expression. “We intend to give you the best. The wait increases for a memorable experience on the big screens. #Pushpa2TheRule Grand release worldwide on 6th December 2024. His rule will be phenomenal. His rule will be unprecedented,” reads the caption.
The much-awaited sequel Pushpa: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, will hit theatres on December 6, 2024. Dhananjaya, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Rao Ramesh, Ajay, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Shanmukh, and Ajay Ghosh will all reprise their roles from the previous film.
As per sources, the upcoming film is made on a budget of Rs 500 crore and is said to be one of the most expensive Indian films to date.
