May All His Wishes Come True, Says Raghava Lawrence On Thalapathy Vijay’s Political Journey

Actor Raghava Lawrence recently visited Tirumala for Srivari Darshan with his family. He received the tirtha offerings at the Ranganayaka Mandapam. While speaking to the media, he congratulated actor Thalapathy Vijay on his political journey and said that he prays that his wishes will come true. He also thanked God that the shooting of the film Bullet, starring his brother Elvin, was completed and that his transition was going well with his social service work. Raghava Lawrence also took photos with fans present at the temple before departing. In a post on X, Elviin wrote, “Visited Tirupati with my brother and got blessings for bullet movie. I feel so blessed and grateful.” The post was further reposted by the actor Raghava Lawrence.

Earlier, in February, Raghava Lawrence posted and congratulated Vijay on his political entry. He wrote, “Congratulations Nanba on your political entry. I pray god for your success in this new journey”

Thalapathy Vijay, who is serving as the president of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam Party, will soon start full-time public service with the aim of the 2026 assembly elections. He recently introduced his party’s flag and flag song at the party headquarters at Panaiyur in Chennai. The red and yellow flag with a flower resembling Vaagai surrounded by 28 stars at the centre and two trumpeting tuskers facing each other on either side has caught the attention of many. While unveiling his party flag and symbol, he took a pledge along with party workers and leaders.

“We will always appreciate the fighters who fought and sacrificed their life for the liberation of our country and countless soldiers who fought tirelessly for the rights of our people from Tamil soil …I will remove the differences in the name of caste, religion, gender, place of birth, create awareness among the people and strive for equal opportunities and equal rights for all. I solemnly affirm that I will uphold the principle of equality for all living beings,” reads the pledge.

Thalapathy Vijay announced the launch of Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam in February this year and said that he will be contesting the 2026 assembly polls in the state.

Raghava Lawrence last appeared in the film Jigarthanda DoubleX, which was released in November 2023. Directed and written by Karthik Subbaraj, it stars Raghava Lawrence, SJ Suryah, and Nimisha Sajayan. The actor will be next seen in the film The Greatest of All Time. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the science fiction action film is scheduled to release in September.
