According to the Buenos Aires police, they received a call about an “aggressive man who could be under the influence of drugs and alcohol” at the hotel in Palermo, one of the city’s upscale neighbourhoods.

The hotel manager reported hearing a loud noise coming from the back of the building. When police arrived, they discovered that someone had fallen from the balcony of a third-floor room. Emergency responders were called to the scene, and they confirmed the death of the British singer. His body was found in the hotel’s interior patio, reports Daily Mail.

Authorities revealed that a staff member from the hotel had placed an urgent call for help, stating that a guest was behaving erratically and appeared intoxicated.
