Sunil Grover shocked everyone when he quit The Kapil Sharma Show after his major fallout with Kapil in October 2017.

‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ is all set to welcome the cast of ‘Heeramandi’ on its set this week. Netflix dropped a promo of the upcoming episode on its social media platforms on Wednesday. In the promo, Krushna Abhishek seemingly takes a dig at Sunil Grover for leaving Kapil Sharma’s previous talk show mid-way.

The promo begins with Krushna dressed as air hostess announcing, “Passengers, please pay attention! Pani Puri stall has been set up at airport’s gate number 20.” When Heeramandi star Sonakshi Sinha reaches the stall and tells “bhaiya (brother)” Kapil to “quickly make pani puri” for the entire cast of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Netflix series, he responds, “Whoever calls me bhaiya, there’s no pani puri for them.”

Following this, Sunil dressed as Dafli tells Krushna, “Main sabse pehle khaaungi kyunki main tumse pehle aayi thi (I will eat first because I came before you).” To this, Krushna wittily replies, “haan, jab tum yahan se chali gayi thi na, uske baad main hi yahan par aayi thi (Yes, but when you left, I was the one who came here).”

Sunil Grover became a household name after playing popular fictional characters Gutthi and Dr Mashoor Gulati on The Kapil Sharma Show, but the actor-comedian shocked everyone when he quit The Kapil Sharma Show after his major fallout with Kapil. In October 2017, the two actor-comedians had a fallout in a flight when they were flying back to Mumbai after wrapping up a show in Australia. Multiple media reports alleged that Kapil was under the influence during the altercation and hit Sunil. Following this alleged incident, Sunil quit The Kapil Sharma Show.

Earlier this year, Sunil poked fun at his and Kapil’s now-ended feud and said that it was all pre-planned years ago.

“We were seated on the flight and we learnt that Netflix was coming to India. So, kuch aisa ho ke (acha) publicity stunt ho,” Sunil joked about his feud with Kapil.
