Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD is still setting the box office on fire. It has already been three weeks since the film was released and it has still not stopped minting money. Kalki 2898 AD received positive reviews from critics and audiences. The blending of Hindu mythology with science fiction elements was praised by a lot. What made the film stand out all the more were the exquisite sets that large portions of the film were shot in.
Set in a dystopian future, Kalki 2898 AD portrays the holy city of Kashi as the only and last inhabitable city in the world and a huge triangular structure full of wealthy people and artificial flora and fauna, known as the Complex hovering over the city. The makers of the film spent a lot in erecting the sets to depict the Kashi city in shambles and the booming Complex. And now Vyjayanthi Movies, which produced the film, is all set to give children a lifetime experience of visiting the sets of the film.
In a social media post, the makers announced the decision to open the doors of the sets of Kalki 2989 AD to a select few children. The selection will be done by a competitive task where children have to talk about the prophesied tenth avatar of Lord Vishnu named Kalki, who is the central plot element in the film. The video of the children talking about Kalki will then have to be uploaded with some hashtags and tagging some official handles. Here is the full information regarding the same.
Meanwhile, Kalki 2898 AD has already grossed more than Rs 1000 crore worldwide. The movie had a cliffhanger ending and not only did the end credits ensure a sequel but also a cinematic universe called Kalki Cinematic Universe. The sequel is expected to be out within the next three years.
