Baahubali star Prabhas is incredibly talented, good-looking, inspiring, and most importantly- single, and precisely why fans can’t contain their excitement each time there is a rumour surrounding his love life.
Of late, there have been rumours of Prabhas being in a relationship with Anushka Shetty. The two met on the sets of Billa in 2009. Their crackling chemistry struck a chord with the viewers and became one of the key factors for its box office success. Later, the successful pair went on to work together in films like Mirchi, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion.
Once again, the actor was asked the inevitable question when he made an appearance on Karan Johar's chat show Koffee With Karan along with Baahubali director SS Rajamouli and co-star Rana Daggubati.
When asked whether or not he was dating Anushka, Prabhas simply said, "No." He added, “If any two people will work together for two years, of course, they will be linked. But I wasn’t dating Anushka. Ask Raj (Rajamouli) if you want.” Rana also confirmed the two were not dating.
Karan then said, “Because she was playing your wife, your mother in the films. It was complicated.” To which, Prabhas promptly replied, “Exactly, see, how can I date her?”
In one of the segments, talking about Prabhas' impending marriage, Rajamouli quipped, “I think Prabhas won’t get married as he is lazy. Going through the entire process of finding the girl, doing the invitations, calling people and the ceremonies, it’s too much. He is lazy to get married."
