Ranveer Singh recently visited the sets of a singing reality show to promote his upcoming film Simmba and the actor, who has been on a celebration spree ever since he tied the knot with Deepika Padukone last month, has certainly not got over his wedding fever. When asked about how he managed his multiple wedding functions from Italy to Bengaluru and Mumbai, he said, “My dharampatni (wife), her planning is too detailed. We did some 22 tastings and kept eating and hitting the gym for the various receptions,” as reported by Mumbai Mirror.
Ranveer went to the show along with his Simmba co-star Sara Ali Khan, who recently marked her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba is a remake of the Telugu film Temper. Sharing his experience of working with Shetty and Ajay Devgn in the cop drama, Ranveer earlier said, "I have been a huge fan of Rohit Shetty sir since the beginning. He has made some of the greatest commercial cinema that we have ever seen. 'Golmaal', 'Singham' and 'Chennai Express' are some of my favourite films of all time."
When asked about Deepika's reaction to the trailer, the actor said, "Rohit sir had shown her a few rushes. She doesn't overreact on anything in life. So when the screen was off, she looked at me and said, 'Hot lag raha hai (you are looking hot)'."
