views
The Deadpool & Wolverine teaser dropped during the Super Bowl 2024 match and it finally introduces Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The teaser featured the OG gang of the Deadpool franchise. However, it is the numerous nods to the OG 6 MCU superheroes, Loki and a lot more that has fans’ attention. In the teaser, Ryan packed in several crossovers that has left every Marvel comic lover screaming.
He starts it off with Loki, going on Wolverine and even includes the X-Men. So here’s a look at all the Easter eggs Deadpool & Wolverine makers placed in the teaser.
Loki:
As soon as Ryan Reynolds marks his return as Wade Wilson, cutting into a birthday cake, he receives an unexpected guest on his doorstep. Turns out, he has been summoned by the TVA. Marvel fans are aware that TVA was first introduced in Loki. The TVA returning in Deadpool & Wolverine could mean that we are meeting Deadpool from a different timeline.
The OG 6:
Once at the TVA headquarters, Wade Wilson is introduced to the OG 6 superheroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Wade is seen standing in front of the televisions, being introduced to the superheroes. The screens featured glimpses of Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Captain America. A blink-and-miss moment featured Wade saluting to the superheroes.

Disney buying X-Men and Deadpool from 20th Century Fox:
There is a scene in which Ryan Reynolds, in his Deadpool suit, is seen loading his gun. In the background, a ruin was placed. The ruin featured the incomplete word, “tury” and the alphabet ‘X’, seemingly hinting at 20th Century Fox.

In a portion of the teaser, Hugh Jackman was seen seated on the gambling table. He wore a white jacket and his back faced the camera. But his look was enough to have us all believing that Patch, Wolverine’s alter-ego, could make an appearance.
