Chiranjeevi's Former Son-In-Law Sirish Bharadwaj No More, Dies Due To Illness In Hyderabad
Reportedly, Sirish Bharadwaj breathed his last on Wednesday morning at a private hospital in Hyderabad.

Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi’s former son-in-law, Sirish Bharadwaj, has passed away. Reportedly, Sirish breathed his last on Wednesday morning at a private hospital in Hyderabad where he was admitted due to an illness. Actor Sri Reddy confirmed the news of Sirish’s death. However, the Bharadwaj family has not issued any statement as of now.

Sri, who shares a good bond with Chiranjeevi’s family, took to her Facebook handle to mourn the death of Sirish. “(Chiranjeevi ex alludu) sirish bharadwaj is no more..At least now Rest in peace raaa, sirish bhardwaj everyone cheated on you raa," she wrote. Later, Sai also took to her X (formerly known as Twitter) account and wrote, “Rest in peace sirish."

How Was Sirish Related To Chiranjeevi?

Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sreeja Konidela eloped with Sirish in 2017 and got married. At that time, Sreeja was just 19 years old whereas Sirish was 22. Their wedding was reportedly against Chiranjeevi and his family’s will. The Telugu superstar had filed a complaint against Sirish, claiming she was a minor. However, Sreeja soon spoke to the media and claimed that she had a ‘threat’ from her family’s side. She even sought police protection against her father. Sreeja and Sirish welcomed their first child, a baby girl in 2008.

However, Sreeja and Sirish’s married life started to face issues in 2011 when the former accused her husband’s family of harassment, claiming they demanded dowry from her. The two got divorced in 2014 following which Sreeja reconciled with her family. Sreeja later married Kalyaan Dhev in 2016 but parted ways in 2022.
