Rakul Preet Singh is busy with her wedding preparations. Reportedly, the actress will be getting married to her longtime partner and actor Jackky Bhagnani on February 22. The duo who have been dating for many years are yet to decide the venue. However, sources claim that the couple might be tying the knot at a beach destination, presumably in Goa. The pre-wedding festivities are speculated to be celebrated for two days from February 19 to February 21. Amid this, Rakul Preet Singh was recently papped taking an auto ride to an undisclosed destination in Mumbai. A video of the actress choosing public transport over a personal vehicle was shared on Instagram by a paparazzo account.
“Rakul Preet Singh gets clicked taking an auto ride in Mumbai today,” read the caption. The video captures the actress arriving at the location in an autorickshaw. She looked pretty in a yellow dress, adorned with floral prints. Rakul teamed up the outfit with minimal accessories and white sneakers. Her short hair was left open for the outing. She carried a handbag and wore a face mask. Rakul seemed to be in a hurry as she rushed inside the gates of a building after making the payment to the auto driver. She did not wait for the shutterbugs to click her pictures.

Later in that day, Rakul Preet Singh and her fiance Jackky Bhagnani made a joint appearance at the special screening of Teri Baaton Main Aisa Uljha Jiya. Directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the romantic comedy stars Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. Rakul donned the same floral printed yellow mini dress for the screening, only changing her white sneakers to brown leather boots. Jackky Bhagnani kept it casual in an all-black ensemble consisting of a t-shirt and denim jeans. He rounded off his look with a brown cap. The couple posed together for the paparazzi. Rakul and Jackky officially confirmed their relationship status in October 2021 through a lovey-dovey Instagram post.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rakul Preet Singh will next be seen in director S Shankar’s upcoming action-entertainer Indian 2, the sequel to the 1996 Kamal Haasan-starrer Indian. Kamal Haasan will be reprising his role in the second part too. Other cast members include Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, and SJ Suryah. Indian 2’s release date is yet to be announced.
