In an interview with Rajshree Marathi, Jahnavi said that her real name is not Jahnavi Killekar. Her real name is Bhavna Gaikwad. After marriage, she changed her name from Bhavna to Janhvi and then to Killekar. That is how Jahnavi Killekar got her name. Jahnavi is fondly called Chiku by all the housemates.
