Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3: Kartik Aaryan Welcomes Vidya Balan AKA OG Manjulika On Board, Reveals Film Release Date

The much-anticipated third installment of the hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise is all set to go on floors soon. Since the fans have been waiting with their bated breaths about more updates around the film, Kartik Aaryan has given everyone the surprise of their lives by announcing Vidya Balan’s return as Manjulika.

On Monday, Kartik Aaryan shared a montage of scenes from ‘Ami Je Tomar’ dance that was performed by him in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 as well as the OG Vdiya Balan’s performance from Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The song used in the clip is also a duet of the song sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal. Posting the video on his Instagram handle, Kartik Aaryan wrote, “And its happening Og Manjulika is coming back to the world of BhoolBhulaiyaa Super thrilled to welcome @balanvidya ❤️‍This Diwali is going to be crackling #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 @aneesbazmee @tseries.official #BhushanKumar.”

Like the other two films which were massive hits at the box office, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also promises to be an out and out entertainer, delving deeper into this mysterious world and weaving together laughter and suspense.

Expressing his excitement about the third installment, Bhushan Kumar said, “The ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ franchise holds a special place in our hearts, and I’m very happy to be taking it forward with a creative mind like Anees and an incredible talent like Kartik.”

Director Anees Bazmee, too, had shared his excitement for the project, saying, “I am thrilled to take forward the world of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa.’ In the previous installment, Rooh Baba became the most loved character, and it’s going to be a fun and exciting challenge to make it even better for the audiences to enjoy. This film is my next immediate directorial and the focus is on crafting a gripping narrative that will resonate with audiences while staying true to the essence of the series.”

Headlined by Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani with a spectacular performance by Tabu, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was the perfect Bollywood horror comedy. It was released in 2022 and grossed over 180 crore in India. The film also starred Rajpal Yadav.
