While Duniya Vijay excelled as usual in his scenes, critics made special mention of actress Priya Shatamarshan, who played a cop in the film. Priya portrayed the character of Inspector Girija in Bheema and her performance was well received. Many reels emerged on social media with users enacting her dialogues from the film. Now, it looks like Priya Shatamarshan is working on yet another interesting project.

From the backdrop, one can easily determine that the photos have been clicked on the sets of a film. Priya looks like she is ready for yet another actioner, from her attire. The shirt and lungi have led fans to draw parallel with Shivarajkumar’s character Bhairathi Ranagal from the upcoming film of the same name. Shivarajkumar’s look was revealed a little while back and now fans are calling Priya the younger sister of Bhairathi Ranagal. Some are even speculating whether the stills posted are from the same film
Priya Shatamarshan started her career with theatre before transitioning to films. Bheema was a huge landmark for her and her breakthrough role. Inspector Girija was widely liked by the audience and her fan following increased by leaps and bounds. In an interview, the actress said that after Bheema released, she went to bed one night and awoke the next morning only to see that her Instagram followers had increased overnight. She also said post Bheema, she received many offers, half of which were that of police officer roles.
