Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon starrer Bareilly Ki Barfi have completed 7 years today. The film was directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and she has shared some behind-the-scenes photos on social media. The post has gone viral and fans are also reacting to it. Taking to her Instagram handle, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari shared photos and wrote, “7 years #Bareillykibarfi Gratitude for the love And specially to you Amma, the cinema lover. I made Bareilly ki Barfi when the kids were 5 years old. But with Your insane confidence in me and telling that there is no reason to feel guilty to follow your dream. “I am there “ Your words gave me the wings to follow the unknown path. Now when i look back there are so many anecdotes that i will savour always. I hope I continue to tell stories from the heart and make you proud.”

In the lead roles of Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s romantic comedy Bareilly Ki Barfi were Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon. The movie, which cost Rs 20 crore to make, tells the tale of a Bareilly bohemian girl who falls in love with an author because of his progressive views on women and society. She enlists the assistance of the proprietor of the neighbourhood printing press and starts her romantic quest to locate him. Bareilly Ki Barfi earned Rs 58.75 crore and was favourably welcomed by reviewers and audiences.
Rajkummar Rao played the role of Pritam Vidrohi said that the kind of variations the character has is very unique. “The moment he started reading Pritam Vidrohi, I was sold that I am doing this film. The kind of variation that Pritam has is very unique,” Rajkummar said in a statement.
