Bollywood actress Ananya Panday is mourning the loss of her pet dog Fudge, a Yorkshire Terrier. An avid dog lover, Ananya shares a close bond with her pets and spends a lot of time with them. She brought the dog home back in 2008, and since then, Fudge had been a constant part of the Liger actress’ life. In her Instagram post, Ananya shared a bunch of pictures from her childhood days, also featuring her mother, Bhavana, sister Rysa and grandmother.
“Rest in peace Fudge, I love you fighter. 16 years of a life filled with so much food and joy, I’ll miss you every single day,” she wrote in the caption. The emotional post deeply highlights the bond that she shared with her pooch, who was like family to her.

The pictures show Ananya and Rysa spending quality time with Fudge, followed by close snaps of the pooch. Many of her fans and friends took to the comment section and shared their condolences. Sophie Choudry wrote, “I’m so sorry love.. He will still watch over you from doggy heaven,” while Shanaya Kapoor added, “Love you,” with a heart emoji. Ananya’s mother, Bhavana Pandey, also reacted to the post. Karisma Kapoor wrote, “RIP Fudge,” and Jackie Shroff added, “His soul always protect and be around you.”
Many others, like Anusha Dandekar, Alanna Panday, Armaan Malik, Zoya Akhtar, Amrita Arora and Pulkit Samrat, also reacted to the post.
The news came months after the actress adopted another pet pooch in May this year. On Instagram, Ananya announced the arrival of her furry friend Riot with some adorable pictures. “Guys, say hello to my baby jaan -“Riot”. he is the cutest little boy in the whole wide world and I’m madly obsessed ps. This is gonna become a RIOT fan page,” she wrote.

On the work front, Ananya Panday was last seen in Netflix’s Kho Gaye Hum Kahan opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi, Adarsh Gourav and Kalki Koechlin. She next has Prime Video’s web series Call Me Bae lined up for release. The show depicts the life of Bella who leaves her luxurious life in Delhi and moves to Mumbai to start her new life. The comedy-drama series will be released on September 6. Her upcoming projects also include Control and The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair.
