Akshay Kumar Says His Khel Khel Mein Co-Star Vaani Kapoor Is Obsessed With Instagram

Akshay Kumar is busy promoting his upcoming comedy film Khel Khel Mein. Helmed by Mudassar Aziz, the film also stars Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal and Pragya Jaiswal in lead roles. Recently, during a chat with Instant Bollywood, Bollywood’s ‘Khiladi’ made an interesting revelation about his co-actress Vaani Kapoor, sharing that she is a very lazy person.

In a light-hearted moment, the team of Khel Khel Mein was asked who’s the one person who never picks up a call. Without missing a beat, the entire team including Akshay pointed towards the Befikre actress and quipped, “Phone to chodo, Aditya (Seal) wo iska padosi hai, he rings the bell and she doesn’t open the door also (Leave the phone, Aditya (Seal) is her neighbour, whenever he rings the bell she doesn’t open the door also).” To which, Aditya agreed and said, “That is true.” The Garam Masala actor further added, “She is so lazy, she has a wheelchair and she moves while sitting on it.”

Adding to this playful exchange, when asked about someone who is very obsessed with Instagram and keeps on stalking people, Akshay quickly pointed towards Vaani. Lastly, when asked about who among them might have the most embarrassing search history, the Sarfira actor again mentioned Vaani, playfully suggesting that she might have some surprising searches hidden in her history.

Khel Khel Mein marks Akshay’s second collaboration with Vaani after their spy-thriller film Bell Bottom. The trailer of offers a sneak peek into the movie’s interesting plot, which revolves around seven friends who gather for a dinner party, but it takes a unique twist. As they surrender their phones, secrets and lies begin to unravel, revealing hidden truths about each other and setting the stage for a thrilling and hilarious ride.

The film is all set to hit theatres on August 15. Khel Khel Mein will be facing a big Bollywood clash with Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 and John Abraham’s Vedaa.

Apart from this, Akshay will also be seen in Sky Force, Welcome…To The Jungle, Jolly LLB 3 and Housefull 5.

Vaani, on the other hand, will be soon making her digital debut with the upcoming thriller series Mandala Murders. Backed by Yash Raj Films, the series will stream on Netflix.
