Akshay Kumar Says A Few Producers CHEATED Him, Have Not Cleared His Dues: 'I Just Don't Talk...'
Akshay Kumar opened up about being cheated by producers. The actor got candid about it in a recent interview.

Akshay Kumar confessed a few producers have not paid him his dues yet. The actor, who is one of the highest paid stars in the industry, dubbed the act as ‘cheating’. The Sarfira actor said such things are unacceptable and added he no longer entertains these people.

During an episode of Abundantia Entertainment’s Sarfiri Baatein ft. Ghazal Alagh, Akshay was asked, “Has anybody in your business cheated you?” The actor admitted, “Ek do producers ki payment nahin aati hain and it’s cheating only. (It has happened to me. A few producers haven’t cleared my dues yet).”

“This is the something we have in common. Main uske baad main usse baat hi nahin karta, chup ho jaata hoon apna side mein nikal jaata hoon… ek do producers ki payment nahin aati hain and that is cheating only… (I just don’t talk to that person, who cheats me. I go quiet.. it has happened to me. A few producers haven’t cleared my dues),” he said.

Akshay has been in the news lately for his rough patch at the box office. He recently opened up about his bad luck at the movies and admitted he is heartbroken by the back-to-back flops. For the unversed, Akshay was seen in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan earlier this year and Sarfira earlier this month. Both the films did not work as expected at the box office. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan earned a box office collection of Rs 59.17 cr. whereas Sarfira earned Rs 17.85 cr so far.

Speaking about the failures, Akshay said, “Behind every film there is a lot of blood, sweat, and passion that goes in. It is heart-breaking to see any film fail. But you have to learn to see the silver lining. Every failure teaches you the value of success and increases the hunger for it even further. Luckily, I learnt to deal with it earlier on in my career. Of course, it hurts and impacts you, but that won’t change the fate of the film. It’s not something which is in your control… what is in your control is to work harder, make amends, and give it your all to your next film. That’s how I channel my energy and try to move on to the next, focusing my energy where it matters the most.”
