2 Mystery Women Questioned In Liam Payne Death Case, Left Hotel Room Hours Before Tragedy
The women have been labelled key witnesses by local media. It has been confirmed that they left the hotel room hours before Liam Payne's fatal fall.

Liam Payne’s sudden death took a new turn when it was revealed that two unidentified women had spent time with him the night before. According to reports, the women stayed at the hotel where Liam died and only left hours before the incident. Police have since located and questioned them, with parts of their first names revealed during a national television broadcast. An investigator shared that five people, including these two women, had been interrogated as part of reconstructing Liam’s final hours. One of the investigators said, “He was with two women in his room where there was access to drugs. I won’t say their surnames, but they are well-known.”

While the women are not considered suspects, they have been labelled key witnesses by local media. It has been confirmed that they left before the fatal fall, which prosecutors have described as dudoso, a term that suggests an unexplained death rather than doubtful.

In their official statement, prosecutors confirmed that they had questioned five witnesses — two women and three hotel staff. Liam’s body was found to have 25 different injuries, and several substances were taken from his room, raising concerns about possible drug use before his fatal fall from a third-floor balcony.

The exact source of the drugs remains unclear, and authorities are still investigating who may have supplied them. The case is being probed as a doubtful death for procedural reasons, but the evidence indicates Liam was alone at the time of the fall and may have experienced a psychotic episode caused by substance abuse.

Prosecutors reconstructed the timeline, determining that the fall occurred at 17:07 the previous day. According to reports, hotel staff raised the alarm after noticing the musician acting strangely, with one receptionist mentioning that he appeared intoxicated and was trashing his room. Emergency calls were made just moments before Liam’s death.

Liam Payne rose to global fame as a member of One Direction, the boy band that came together on The X-Factor UK in 2010. Alongside Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik, Payne helped the group achieve worldwide success. One Direction released five studio albums and delivered multiple hits like What Makes You Beautiful and Drag Me Down, becoming one of the best-selling boy bands of all time before going on hiatus in 2016.
