Designer Manish Malhotra did a special preview of his upcoming Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015 show collection – The Gentlemen’s Club at the Li Bai, Palladium Hotel today.
Adding a new dimension to the red carpet, the preview kick started with models walking out of Rolls-Royce with Manish Malhotra looking quite dapper himself.
On the collection, Manish Malhotra said,“The collection for Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive is for the debonair man – it's stylish, cool and contemporary. It exudes sophisticated charm and is an extension of my couture line. In keeping with the season, The Gentlemen's Club collection is a festive fusion of Indian and western couture, focusing on shades of emerald green and adorned with botanical motifs. I am very happy to announce that Ranbir Kapoor will be walking for the show.”
This offsite show will take place at Mehboob Studio for the first time on August 26, closing the opening day of Lakmé Fashion Week.
On the impending offsite show, designer Manish Malhotra shared, “2015 is a very special year for me. It marks 25 years as a costume designer and stylist in the movie industry, and a successful decade for my fashion label – MANISH MALHOTRA. I'm very excited to showcase my first ever menswear show at Lakme Fashion Week in association with Philips, which shares a similar passion for establishing individuality, with flair. True style begins with an impeccably-groomed man who just knows what looks good on him."
