BTS Star RM To Release Second Solo Album Right Place, Wrong Person In May

BTS, the globally acclaimed Korean boy band, is in the midst of fulfilling their mandatory military service. Jin was the first member of the septet to join the service, followed by J-Hope and SUGA. More recently, in December 2023, RM commenced his enlistment, alongside V, Jimin, and Jungkook. Despite their absence from the limelight, snippets of their lives continue to captivate fans whenever they surface online. And RM fans, there’s even more reason for celebration as we have a piece of good news for you.

BTS leader Kim Nam-joon aka RM’s second solo album is on the way. Yes, you read that right! His album titled Right Place, Wrong Person boasts 11 tracks and is all set to arrive next month. According to the announcement on Weverse, the songs are “infused with alternative music and rich sounds.”. What’s more? The tracks are made with “frank, honest lyrics.”

Mark your calendars, RM fans! The highly anticipated second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, is set to be released on May 24 at 1 p.m. KST.

The statement released by BIGHIT MUSIC read, “We are pleased to announce the release of “Right Place, Wrong Person,” BTS member RM’s second solo album.”

“Right Place, Wrong Person is an 11-track album that captures some of the universal emotions that we all experience at some point in life, such as the feeling of being an outsider who doesn’t fit in,” they added.

Urging fans’ support, the South Korean record label expressed, “The album falls within the alternative genre, boasting a rich sound coupled with frank, honest lyrics. Your anticipation and support for RM and his second solo album “Right Place, Wrong Person” would be much appreciated.”

RM’s debut solo album, Indigo, which arrived in December 2022, peaked at No. 3 on the all-genre Billboard 200. The album which featured collaborations with renowned artists like Anderson Paak and Erykah Badu became an instant hit among fans. According to reports, the BTS members will be reuniting sometime in 2025.
