In 2013, Jagasi Ram of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Lakhma Ram of INC by a margin of 32,244 votes which was 21.05% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 51.46% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Jagasi Ram of BJP won this seat beating Neeraj Dangi of INC by a margin of 3,238 votes which was 2.86% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 41.88% in the seat.
