In 2013, Hanuman Beniwal of IND emerged victorious in this seat beating Durg Singh of BSP by a margin of 23,020 votes which was 14.66% of the total votes polled in the constituency. IND had a vote share of 41.66% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Hanuman Bainiwal of BJP won this seat beating Durgsingh of BSP by a margin of 24,443 votes which was 18.85% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BSP had a vote share of 45.32% in the seat.
