“There is nothing with Dotasra, what will ED find? They just took his phone. ED has made a joke of itself and also made a joke of an investigation. In fact, it is not even the mistake of the ED. They are under so much pressure from above that if they have to do their jobs, they have to conduct such politically motivated raids as the pressure is immense. I have heard ED officials say so privately,” Gehlot told News18. He said the party was fully backing Dotasra.

Dotasra, meanwhile, said the ED did not ask him a single question or take his statement during the raids conducted on Thursday in the poll-bound state.
“The search warrant was in the name of my son, Avinash. I gave them permission to search all of my premises. They took away only my mobile. I have no connection with the Kalam Institute (which is at the centre of the paper leak scam). ED could find no such documents,” Dotasra said on Thursday.
The Rajasthan Congress chief said he was targeted as he speaks against the BJP and the RSS. “The fact is that they want to put me in jail before the elections. Even if I am put in jail, I will win from there too,” Dotasra said.
Gehlot described Dotasra as the son of a farmer and a teacher and said the party backs him. The ED had conducted day-long raids at the residences of the Dotasra family in Jaipur and Sikar.
