Singing is hobby for many of the stars of Kannada cinema. The most successful was Dr Rajakumar that gave him the national award for 'Nadha Maya Yee Lokavella Nadha Maya....' for 'Jeevana Chaitra'. The acting and singing talent in Dr Rajakumar was so high and impeccable.
After Dr Rajakumar taking up singing many of the actors have taken up occasional singing but no one clicked to that extent. Power star Puneeth Rajakumar from the childhood days retained his singing ability with rare voice and he is a big draw for outside banner as of now. A plenty of songs Puneeth Rajakumar rendered as super hits after he became a super star from 'Appu'. For that extent Shivarajakumar from 'Mani Mani...' in 'Janumada Jodi' retained his position but it is Raghavendra Rajakumar who has quite an impressive voice as singer even to this day.
Off late the newbie tried out in singing is Yogesh. He is a sensation from 'Dhuniya'. His recent song ' Khali Rodu...Onti Girlu...' was super hit for 'Kalaya Thasmai Namaha'. Now he has taken another song with full feeling. For 'Bangari' a film with sweet looking Ragini, Yogesh has rendered a song 'Chang Changru Hudgirna Yavathu Namb Bedi, Kiththod Lovvu Madokke Hogbedi....'
A peppy song scored by music director AM Neel is shot at Rockline Studio in over Rs.10 lakh budget by director Ma Chandru for 'Bangari'.
Eight lorry loads of sand was utilized for the set at the studio to give a beach feel. Malur Srinivas directed the steps. The planning and shooting for the song was over in two days time recalls director Ma Chandru.
