Faridabad (Haryana): A young woman was on Friday picked by two unidentified persons in the Capital and allegedly raped for two hours in a moving car before being pushed out on the outskirts of Palwal town.
The 27-year-old woman had taken a lift in an Indica car from Ashram Chowk to go to Uttam Nagar in Delhi but was instead taken beyond Faridabad city and allegedly raped by the youths for around two hours, Palwal (rural) Superintendent of Police Yashwant Singh Lamba said.
She was pushed out of the car on National Highway number 2 in Palwal and reached Palwal City police station in a bedraggled condition, he said.
The police had noted down the number of the Indica (HR 17 4296) but the woman said she did not know the two who had assaulted her, he added.
The woman is from Nangli Chakravat in Delhi's Najafgarh area and her husband is an auto-rickshaw driver, Lamba said.
