New Delhi: Actors normally don't get a second chance to comeback, but then there are exceptions to everything. Madhuri Dixit is one such actor who has got her second chance to comeback in Abhishek Chaubey's 'Dedh Ishqiya'.
The first edition 'Ishqiya' was made with Vidya Balan in the lead. That role got her critical praises which fetched her more female oriented films. Later she did films such as 'The Dirty Picture' and 'Kahaani' where she was the actor in prominence.
Yash Raj Films re-launched Madhuri's film career in 2007 with 'Aaja Nachle'. Directed by Anil Mehta, the film bombed at the box office and Madhuri's second inning finished with the beginning.
But as they say, once a star, always a star, Madhuri is again all set to return with her two forthcoming films in 2012. If reports are to be believed then Madhuri has a very powerful role in 'Dedh Ishqiya'. Vishal Bharadwaj is the producer of 'Dedh Ishqiya' who is known for giving his actresses meaningful roles. Tabu in 'Maqbool', Priyanka Chopra in '7 Khoon Maaf', and Vidya Balan in 'Ishqiya' can be taken as examples.
Madhuri Dixit has also caught the attention of Anubhav Sinha. The 'RA.One' director has taken Madhuri as the lead in his film 'Gulab Gang' where the actress will play a gangster.
With two big banner films in her kitty, Madhuri Dixit seems all set to finish 2012 in style.
