The level stood at 33.37 feet as against full level of 71 feet with an inflow of 247 cusecs. Sixty cusecs of water was being released for drinking water purpose from the dam, officials said.
Meanwhile, inflow into the Periyar Dam was 2,282 cusecs and the water level stood at 119.20 feet (136 feet). The discharge was 600 cusecs. Thekkady received 28.6 mm and Periyar received 28.6 mm of rain till 8 am on Monday.
