Former chief minister Vasundhara Raje figured in the first list of 176 candidates announced by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the Dec 1 Rajasthan assembly elections, said party sources.
According to party sources, there are around 20 women, 24 Scheduled Tribes, 30 Scheduled Castes and 35 youth candidates in the list.
Vasundhara Raje will contest from the Jalra Patan seat.
The Rajasthan house has 200 members.
The BJP's central election committee will consider the candidates for Madhya Pradesh and Delhi polls on Wednesday, said party sources.
