Melbourne: Pop star Britney Spears' seems to have had a tough time down under as her Australian fans found her debut show in the country terrible and walked out of it.
The exodus began just three songs into her show in Perth, Australia on Friday night, after fans made it clear they were unhappy with the star's lackluster performance and miming, reported the Sydney Daily Telegraph.
"It was bad... She has let us down," said a fan, Josh Blee, who came to attend the concert.
Other concertgoers complained they couldn't even see the Toxic singer miming on the big screens above the stage because she mostly performed with her back to the cameras.
Spears never addressed the fans who had paid for expensive tickets.
Friday night's outrage came just 24 hours after a Virginia Judge, the New South Wales Minister for Fair Trading, urged ticket agencies to warn fans about touring stars who don't sing live.
"Live means live. If you are spending up to USD 200, I think you deserve better than a film clip. The NSW Government would be happy to look at options, such as a disclaimer on a ticket which would warn consumers a performance is pre-recorded," said Judge, taking aim at Spears in particular.
